The world in numbers - How big is China?

China is much much much bigger than we suppose. It's not only their large land that accounts for its massiveness but also its economic size. For instance, Guangdong exports as much as South Korea, Jiangsu as much as Taiwan. Shanghai’s GDP per person is as high as Saudi Arabia’s (at purchasing-power parity)
