What I learned today - Tesco field visit

: Consumers are not always rational when making purchasing decisions. They are largely influenced by external and internal psychological factors.

: The impact of leadership rises as the rate of changes increases.
: Be clear on goals and flexible in approaches.
: Be collaborative and supportive.

Tesco field trip (25 Feb, Tesco Extra at Wembley)
: Retail business is much technology-driven than it seems.
: A small trigger can lead to big changes (digital price tag)
: Retailers will become stronger soon in Korea, relative to suppliers.
